No. Most readings are in Portuguese, and much of the conversation around them happens in English. Many evenings include translation or short introductions in English, and no one has ever been left out of the conversation for lack of a language.

Reservations are free. We ask you to book so we know how many chairs to put out, and to tell us if your plans change so someone else can take your place.

The evenings are late and the readings are for adult audiences, though older teenagers who love books are always welcome with an adult.
