Reservations are free and personal to you. Because the room is small, please tell us if you can no longer come so your place can be offered to someone else.

We may need to change a date, a venue or a line-up. If that happens we will write to everyone holding a reservation as early as we can.

Casa do Sarau is a space for listening. We ask everyone to treat readers, performers, staff and each other with courtesy.

Racism, harassment, homophobia, transphobia and intimidation are not tolerated. We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving in that way to leave.

We photograph and occasionally record editions for the archive, with the consent of those performing. Please do not film readings without asking the reader first.

Writers and performers keep all rights in their own work. Where we publish extracts, photographs or recordings in the archive, we do so with permission and with credit.

Text, photography and design on this site belong to Casa do Sarau or to the contributors credited. Please ask before reproducing them.
